Review of Le Petit Prince x Bluebonnet Midnight Blue

I recently picked up the Le Petit Prince x Bluebonnet Italian Leather Watch Band in Midnight Blue, and I wanted to share my thoughts — especially pairing it with my Apple Watch Hermès Series 10 and Hermès Ultra 2. I made a video with visuals, close-ups, and first-hand impressions — you can check it out here:

First Impressions & Highlights

  • Look & Material The band is made from full-grain Italian calfskin (Swift leather), which has a beautifully smooth, rich texture. The Midnight Blue color is deep and elegant — it looks luxe without being flashy. The lining is Zermatt French calfskin, which feels soft against the skin.
  • Design Details One of my favorite touches is the engraved Le Petit Prince star on the polished buckle — a subtle nod to the collaboration. There’s also a golden star thread under the buckle, adding a discreet bit of luxury. The hardware matches nicely with the Hermès aesthetic.
  • Fit & Compatibility It comes with quick-release adapters so it works seamlessly with both my Hermès Series 10 and Ultra 2 straps. The fit is snug, secure, and really comfortable even after wearing it for a full day.
  • Durability & Everyday Use Because of the calfskin lining, it handles sweat and occasional moisture better than many leather bands. Over time, the Swift leather should soften a bit, molding nicely to the wrist without losing its polish.

How It Performs with the Hermès Series 10 vs Hermès Ultra 2

AspectWith Hermès Series 10With Hermès Ultra 2
Strap width & adapter fitExcellent — the size and profile matches perfectlySame — no issues fitting the Ultra 2, looks harmonious
ComfortVery good — no sharp edges, comfortable even during movementEqually good, though with Ultra 2’s weight you notice the difference in the body of the watch more than the strap
Style matchElegant, complements Hermès styling without overshadowing itSlight bolder contrast due to Ultra 2’s rugged frame, but still polished

Verdict

If you’re after a leather band that balances elegance, craftsmanship, and daily wearability, the Le Petit Prince x Bluebonnet Midnight Blue is a great choice. It pairs beautifully with high-end pieces like the Hermès Series 10 and Ultra 2, offering style without sacrificing comfort. I’d recommend it for anyone who wants something special, with subtle character and reliable quality.

Final Thoughts & Call-to-Action

I’ll keep wearing this one and update if I see any major changes (patina, wear, etc.). If you’re curious, definitely give the video a watch — you’ll see the texture, color, and fit in real life, which always helps when deciding on a leather band.
