Coast Clear 2.0 Rebuilding from the Ground Up

Coast Clear began as a simple way for beachgoers to share shark sightings across the U.S. Virgin Islands. While the original version proved the concept, I quickly recognized opportunities to improve the experience—from navigation and reporting workflows to performance, accessibility, and visual consistency. Rather than incrementally improving the existing application, I rebuilt Coast Clear from the ground up. Version 2.0 introduces a completely redesigned interface, native iOS interactions, Dark Mode support, streamlined reporting, and a stronger technical foundation that will support future expansion.
