About Josh

Curiosity is
the through line.

Product leader, designer, and builder. Based in the U.S. Virgin Islands, working where strategy, data, and human experience meet.

From explaining technology
to shaping it.

My career began with technology, training, and helping people understand how things work. That foundation still shapes how I approach product design: the work is only useful when someone can make sense of it.

At Cornerstone Information Systems, I’ve worked across training, engineering, product management, and product leadership. Along the way, I led data science at CI Azumano and UX, design, and technical product management at World Travel.

Today, my work brings those disciplines together. I connect business goals to technical possibilities, then stay close to the experience people actually use.

A clear idea.
A considered execution.

Understand the real problem.

Listen, ask questions, and translate competing needs into a direction people can work toward.

Make the complex legible.

Bring structure to data, workflows, and decisions. Good design should help people understand what matters and what to do next.

Stay close to the craft.

Strategy and implementation inform one another. I care about the language, the interaction, and the small details that make a product feel coherent.

Small products.
Personal reasons.

Through taplabs, I design and build focused apps around everyday questions: how to repeat a good brew, understand recent shark sightings, or find a useful island story.

Coffee, photography, travel, and life in the Virgin Islands also find their way into my writing. They keep me curious about how people experience the world—and how a thoughtful tool can change that experience.
